Mrs. Agnes Turner Stewart, 96 of Marshville passed away Thursday, July 13, 2023 at Richmond County Hospice Haven in Rockingham, NC.  Born September 14, 1926 in Union County, she was a daughter of the late Byron Grady Turner and Beulah Allen Turner.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, John Benton Stewart, daughter, Barbara Tucker, grandsons, Brooks Stewart and Adam Tucker and granddaughter, Terri Lee Stewart.

A graveside service to celebrate the life of Agnes will be 11 AM, Saturday, July 15, 2023 at the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends following by the gravesite.

Those left to cherish her memory include son Byron Stewart (Linda), daughter, Delores Broome (Mike); son-in-law, John Tucker; 17 grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Pleasant Hill or Olive Branch Baptist Church cemetery funds.
