Mrs. Alif Thomas Preslar, 93, died July 19, 2017 at CHS – Union.  Born June 11, 1924, she was a daughter of the late Frank Neal Thomas and Wilma Little Thomas. She was widowed by James Monroe Preslar and also preceded in death by a brother, Sam Thomas.

A graveside service to celebrate the life of Alif will be held 11 AM Tuesday at Hamilton Crossroads Baptist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends by the graveside following the service.

Mrs. Preslar is survived by two children, Karen Kiker and her husband Philip of Marshville, Ken Preslar of Marshville; grandchildren, Dr. Zach Kiker, his wife Casey, and Whitney Kiker all of Columbia, SC; great grandchildren, Noah, Lydia, Rebekah and Abigail Kiker; siblings, Geraldine Haigler and Catherine Carpenter of Matthews, and Kermit (Chum) Thomas of Marshville.

The family would like to thank Chum, Joan and Jennifer Thomas for their love and kindness.
