Mrs. Alma I. Deese, 76, passed away on June the 1st, 2013 at her sonâ??s residence in Springfield, Missouri. She was the daughter of the late Ollie Olin and Clara Voyles Gentry. She was retired from the Harris Teeter where she worked in the Deli. Funeral Services will be 6pm Thursday the 6th of June, 2013 in the Chapel of Morgan & Son Funeral Home. Visitation will follow the services. Interment will be private. She is survived by her son; Mr. Johnny Lee Ivey of Springfield. One brother Mr. Bob Gentry of Rockwell, N.C. Three sisters: Mrs. Helen Goforth, Mrs. Shirley Overcash, both of Kannapolis and Mrs. Fay Knight of Knoxville, Tn. Two grandchildren: Matthew Ivey and Kara Trower.
