Annie Sue Faulkner Mills, 83, passed away on Sunday, April 22, 2018 at Autumn Care in Marshville. She was born in Anson County on August the 16th, 1934 to the late Eugene and Fanny Geneva Gulledge Faulkner. She was a retired supervisor with Alltel. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her son, Mr. Billy Mills, her grandson Mr. Joshua Travis Edwards and her brothers: Wade Faulkner and Jack Faulkner.
Funeral services will be held 2 PM Thursday at the Chapel of Morgan & Son Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Marshville City Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 1-2 pm at the funeral home.
She is survived by two daughters: Dianne M. Edwards of Marshville, and Donna Mills of Mt. Gilead. Her caregiver and friend Lynda H. Gibson of Marshville. Billy's widow, Lou Ann Throckmorton Almond. Grandchildren: Billy Joe (Jody) Mills III, Cody Mills, Cody Shawn Edwards. Great-grandchildren: Keenan Mills, Kelby Mills, Walker Mills and Luke Mills. Sisters: Mrs. Shirley F. Nixon of Iron Station, Patsy F. Mills and her husband Leroy, and Joyce F. Bowers all of Marshville. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.
