Mr. Billy Anthony High, 66, went home to be with his Lord and Saviour Thursday evening, September 24, 2026, surrounded by his family. Born January 6, 1960, in Union County, NC, he was the son of Billy Ray High and the late Judy Wright High.

Anthony was a man who lived a life of integrity that loved the Lord, his wife, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren with all of his heart just as the Word commands.

A funeral service to celebrate the life of Anthony will be 2 PM, Sunday, September 27, 2026, at Freedom Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday evening from 4 - 6 PM at Morgan & Son Funeral Home.

Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of 48 years, Teresa Sistar High; son Shannon High (Beth); daughters, Amanda Bivins (Matthew) and Christy Cain (Travis); grandchildren, Angelina Spencer (Damien), Chandler High (Jess), Daniel Bivins, Dalton High, Colton High, Brooklyn Bivins, Cheyanne Thomas (CJ), Isaiah Cain, Garrett High, Jamie Cain; great grandchildren, Elizabeth, Paisley and Daxton; father, Rev. Bill High; brothers Jeff High (Marla), Michael High and Bryan High (Tonya); and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family suggests memorials made to Freedom Baptist Church, 5964 Hwy 218, Peachland, NC 28133.

The family will be receiving friends at other times from his home, 5923 Old Goldmine Road, Marshville, NC 28103.
