Marshville – Mr. Arnold Godwin, 82 died Saturday at CMC-Union in Monroe. Born August 9, 1933 in Union County, he was a son of the late Willie Crawford Godwin and Cora Bertha Helms Godwin. He was also preceded in death by a son, Charles Godwin.

Funeral services will be private.

Mr. Godwin is survived by a son, Larry Godwin and his wife Cindy of Marshville; daughters, Elaine Bullard and her husband Phil of Kannapolis, Marie Godwin of Monroe and Janet Edwards of Polkton; 8 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
