Mr. Art E. Whitten, Jr. 83 passed away June the 18th, 2018 at his residence. He was born in Oneida County, NY to the late Arthur E. and Marion Butler Whitten. He was a veteran of the USMC and retired from the Department of Defense as an inspector.
Funeral Services will be 2pm Thursday in the Chapel of Morgan & Son of Marshville. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service. Interment with military honors will be in the Citizen's Cemetery in Mercer, Pa.
He is survived by his wife Mary Whitten. One son; Mr. Arthur Whitten III of San Diego, Ca. Two daughters: Mrs. Virginia Santaniello and her husband Michael, and Mrs. Cheryl Allen all of San Diego, Ca. Three sisters: Patricia Baxter, Joy Flagherty, and Dorothy Dean. Five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren also survive him.
