Mr. Arthur Davis   98 , passed away   on July the 23 ^rd , 2017 at Hospice House of Union County.  He was born in Union County on September 19, 1918 to the late Henry and Flossie Hamilton Davis.  He was a USMC veteran of WWII.  Arthur was involved in real estate, construction and farming over 80 years.  He was preceded in death by his wife Mrs. Clara B. Davis.

Funeral Services will be 11am Wednesday the 26 ^th of July, 2017 at Austin Grove Baptist Church.  Interment will follow in the cemetery with military honors.   Visitation will follow in the church fellowship hall.

He is survived by his four sons:  Mr. Edward D. Davis and his wife Debbie of Charlotte, Mr. D. A. Davis and his wife Kathy of Pageland, SC, Mr. Norris Davis and wife Robin of Indian Trail, and Mr. Rodney Davis and his wife Julie of Waxhaw.  He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
