On the morning of Saturday March 2, 2024, God decided to make heaven a lot more special by welcoming precious Avett Nelson High. Avett passed peacefully from the arms of his parents to the arms of Jesus.  Born Friday, February 23, 2024, the family was blessed with this precious life for only 8 short days, but he taught them to love in ways unimaginable.

Left to cherish Avett's memory are his parents, Nathan and Katlyn High, and his big brother, Cohen; grandparents, Tony and Sheri High, Nelson and Suzy Speights; great grandmother, Nana Faye, (Bill Crouse); Avett's other family includes uncle and aunt, Matthew High (Lindsey) and their daughter, Zoey; aunt, McKayla High; uncle and aunt, Micah Speights (Courtney).

Funeral services will be private.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Harmony Community Church, PO Box 138, Peachland, NC  28133.
