Mrs. Barbara Oakley Kiker, 81, passed away Wednesday, August 3, 2022 at her home in Peachland.  Born March 24, 1941 in Caldwell County, she was a daughter of the late Rev. John Silas Oakley and Ola Stevenson Oakley.  She was also preceded in death by her husband Harold earlier this year and her siblings, Peggy Slack and Danny Oakley.

One of Barbara's greatest loves was Peachland United Methodist Church where she was a faithful member for nearly 60 years.  Right up until the end, her church family was on her mind.

A funeral service to celebrate the life of Barbara will be held 11 AM, Saturday, August 13, 2022 from the Peachland Methodist Church with burial to follow in the Peachland City Cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Saturday at the church from 10 – 10:45.

Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Scott; her niece, Michelle Tucker and her family.  Special friends, Angie and Robert Bolick and their family and Jennie Dutton and her family and also her special buddy, her cat Boots.
