Marshville – Ben Atkinson, 67, passed away Friday, January 8, 2021 at his home in Morven.  Born Mecklenburg County, he was a son of the late Jackie Atkinson. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Dianne Lee Groves-Atkinson and a daughter, Kesha Moon Mercer.

He is survived by his daughter, Star Everts; grandchildren, Benjamin Poston, Joshua Everts and Jacklyn Mercer.

Funeral services will be held at a later date.
