Mrs. Bertha Jenkins Haigler, 92 of Marshville, passed away Tuesday, June 13, 2023 at her daughter's home in Richfield, NC.  Born October 4, 1930 in Union County, she was a daughter of the late Dexter and Gertrude Haney Jenkins.  She was also preceded in death by her husband Edgar and siblings Graham Jenkins, Henry Jenkins, Troy Jenkins, Jane Helms, Ray Jenkins, and Alice Purser and great granddaughter, Hanna Price.

A graveside funeral service to celebrate the life of Bertha will be 11 AM, Saturday, June 17, 2023 at the Centerview Baptist Church Cemetery officiated by Rev. Joe Stroud.  The family will receive friends following by the grave.

Those left to cherish her memory include a son, Gerald Haigler (Karen); daughter, Kaye Medlin (Ted); grandchildren Angela Mathews, Wendy Medlin (Travis), David Medlin (Mary Ivey) and Teri Lowder (Matthew); great grandchildren, Dimitri Hrysikos, Jordan Sink, Dara Lane, Trace Medlin, Emory Medlin, Parker Medlin, Ivey Lynn Medlin, Will Lowder and Grace Lowder; siblings, Pat Haigler, (Floyd), Earl Jenkins (Vivian), Nelson Jenkins (Patty), Diane Glassburg (Bill) and Cathy Faile (Buster).
