Clemmons, NC - Mrs. Betty Allen Taylor, 89, passed away Monday, May 29, 2023 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home in Winston Salem, NC.  Born February 10, 1934 in Anson County, she was a daughter of the late Robert Benson Allen and Lela Caudle Allen.  She was also preceded in death by her husband Joe.

A funeral service to celebrate the life of Betty will be 11 AM, Thursday, June 1, 2023 at the Chapel of Morgan & Son Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Wightman United Methodist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughters, Sandy (Jim) Johnson and Robyn (Adam) Thomas; beloved grandchildren, Jimmy Johnson(Megan), Katie Johnson, Gabriel Rodriguez, Adrian Rodriguez, Awna Thomas, and Grey Thomas; sister, Carolyn Johnson; sisters -in-law, Betty Smith (Arnold), and Becky Allen; many special nieces and nephews.
