Marshville - Robert Harold "Bobby" Collins, Jr. of Marshville passed away November 16, 2020 at Atrium Health – Union.  Born October 4, 1947, in Monroe, NC, he was the only child of the late Robert Harold Collins, Sr. and Ellie Horne Collins.

A funeral service to celebrate the life of Bobby will be held 11 AM Tuesday, November 24, 2020 at Old Paths Bible Baptist Church, 68 Old Hwy 74 W, Peachland, NC. Internment will be private.  Due to COVID, there will be no visitation prior to the service.  If you wish to express condolences before the funeral, you are welcome to come by the funeral home on Monday from noon until 4 PM. Please exercise social distancing while at the service.

Bobby is survived by his wife Debbie Collins of Marshville; children Brad (Sharon) Collins of Unionville, Russ (Gina) Collins of Marshville, and Jaclyn (Adam) Sturgis of Concord; 6 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren; along with many loving family and friends that blessed his life immensely.

In lieu of flowers, the family ask that memorial donations be made to Old Paths Bible Baptist Church at PO Box 415, Peachland, NC 28133.

The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the incredible Critical Care Unit team at Atrium Health- Union.  Were it not for each of their team member's talents, considerations, and sincere care for this husband, father, and "Paw Paw", this journey would bear more hardship than his absence asks of us to endure.   We thank you all for the miracles of your service that will forever journey with us upon the road ahead.
