Mrs. Bonnie Little Baker, 82 died May 13, 2016 at her home in Marshville. Born January 8, 1934 in Union County, she was a daughter of the late Curtis Lee Little and Mary Lela Baucom Little. She was preceded in death by her husband Sherwood Braswell Baker in 2011 and a sister, Jessie Carpenter.
Funeral service will be held 11am, Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at Faulks Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6:30-8:30 PM at Morgan & Son Funeral Home.
Survivors include son, Danny Baker and his wife Patsy of Marshville; three daughters, Diane B. Collins and her husband Fred of Wingate, Anita B. Helms and her husband David and Donna B. Williams and her husband Brian all of Monroe; Grandchildren, Anthony Honeycutt, Stacy Collins Nance, Christy Collins, Leah Helms, Leslie Krygier, Graham Helms, Abby Williams Byrum, Kyle Williams and Kurt Williams; Great-grandchildren, Kaylin Forward, Codie Nesmith, Walter Nesmith, Maci Byrum and Myles Byrum. Sisters, Phyllis Helms and her husband Larry of Oakboro and Brenda Turner and her husband Charles of New Salem; brothers, Harold Little and Kenneth Little and his wife Mae Ellen all of Marshville, sister-in-law, Mildred Baker of Wingate.
