Mr. Cecil Blair Griffin, 83, of Marshville, passed away, Tuesday, July 9, 2024, at Jesse Helms Nursing Center.  Born March 28, 1941, in Union County, he was a son of the late Fred Mack Griffin and Eunice Rushing Griffin. He was also preceded in death by siblings, Sherrill Griffin, Max Griffin, and Rachel Broome (Roy). He loved his grandchildren, riding horses, his dogs and all the animals on his farm.

A funeral service to celebrate the life of Cecil will be 10 AM, Friday, July 12, 2024, from the graveside of Fountain Hill Methodist Church.  The family will receive friends following the service by the grave.

Those left to cherish his memory include his son, Damien Griffin (Kristi); brother, Keith Griffin; sister, Peggy Duncan (Wayne); sister-in-law's, Sarah Griffin & Flora Faye Griffin; grandchildren: Blair Griffin, Jaelin Griffin, Skylar Griffin Davis (Phillip), Dillon Johnson & Gage Johnson.
