Waxhaw – Mr. Charles Davis, 86, died Saturday at CMC-Pineville. Born June 26, 1931 in Anson County, he was a son of the late Walter B. Davis and Jennie Little Davis. He was a Korean War Army Veteran. He was preceded in death by sisters, Pauline Preslar and Nezzie Baker. Prior to retiring to NC, he lived in Miami Florida for 30+ years.
A graveside service to celebrate the life of Charles will be held Friday at 11 am from the Deep Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends following by the graveside.
Mr. Davis is survived by his son, Jeff Davis and his wife Barbara of Fort Myers, Florida; daughter, Julia Davis of Waxhaw, NC; 5 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren.
