Chase Hampton
Coble
Mar 16, 1976 — Oct 11, 2019
Mr. Chase Coble, 43, passed away Friday, October 11, 2019 at his home. Born March 16, 1976, he was a son of Linda Kiker Phifer and the late Charles Coble. He was a loving father and had no greater joy in his life than his daughter.
Captain Coble honorably served the citizens of Union County as a law enforcement officer for over 22 years, beginning in 1997 with the Marshville Police Department. In 2003, he joined the UCSO and immediately accepted assignment to Indian Trail where he has worked for the last 16 years, rising through the ranks from Deputy Sheriff to Captain. Under his leadership, the Indian Trail Division has grown to 25 deputies serving the largest municipality in Union County. The outstanding partnership he fostered on behalf of the UCSO with the Town of Indian Trail will forever be remembered as a tribute to his leadership.
A memorial service to celebrate the life of Chase will be held 11 AM Wednesday, October 16, 2019 from First Baptist Church Indian Trail. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6-8 PM at the church.
Chase is survived by his daughter, Summer Ann Coble of Marshville; mother, Linda Kiker Phifer and father Jimmy of Marshville; brother, Chuck Coble of Marshville; step brother, Jamie Phifer (Missy) of Wadesboro; step sister, Elizabeth Mitchell of Marshville.
Memorials to be made to the Union county branch of Hometown Heroes, PO Box 953, Monroe, NC 28111.
