Mr. Chris Helms 51, passed away on April the 10 ^th , 2021 at his residence.  He was born in Mecklenburg County on October the 8 ^th , 1969.  In addition to his grandparents, he was preceded in death by his brother Michael S. Helms.

Full Masonic Funeral Rites will be 2pm, Wednesday the 14 ^th of April, 2021 under the Gazebo of Marshville City Cemetery.  The family will greet friends following the service.  Please follow all Covid guidelines and restrictions.

Chris is survived by his wife Tania A. Helms.  His parents Johnny & Judy M. Helms.  Two sons: Mr. Jeffery D. Helms his wife Casey and their children Hadleigh, and Brooks.  Mr. Tyler Helms.  His brother Brian E. Helms his wife Denise and their children Garrett and Lakin. Step-son Mr. Lindsey Austin his wife Renee and their children Kimmie and Chloe.  Step-daughter Sarah Mills her husband Adam and their children Aiden, Ainsley, Addie, and Asher all of Marshville.

During these times of limiting the numbers for social gatherings, the family respects your concerns of avoiding crowds, so they welcome you to stop by the funeral home on Tuesday, April 13th, 2021 from 1 PM until 5:00pm and Wednesday, April 14 ^th from 9AM until 12pm.  The family will not be present.
