Peachland – Mr. Clamon Sanders, 78, of Peachland died Sunday at the Autumn Care in Marshville. Born August 29, 1935 in Anson County, he was a son of the late Blain and Nora Hill Sanders.
Funeral services will be held 11 am Wednesday at the Mt. Carmel Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6 – 7:30 pm at the funeral home.
Mr. Sanders is survived by his loving wife of 61 years Lucy of the home; daughters, Judy Williams and husband Rev. Johnny Williams of Fries, VA and Jean Brantley and husband Mark Brantley of Monroe; grandchildren, Rev. Curtis Williams, LuAnn Cherry, Chris Wallace, Amy Thomas, Casie Wallace, Krystal and Chance Brantley; and 10 great grandchildren.
