Mrs. Clarice Elizabeth Anderson Thomas, 87, passed away Wednesday, August 19, 2026, at Atrium Health – Union. Born April 1, 1939, she was a daughter of the late Charles Arthur Anderson and Ruth Mills Anderson. She was also preceded in death by husband, Kenneth Thomas, and a brother, Jerry Anderson.

A funeral service to celebrate the life of Clarice will be 3 PM, Sunday, August 23, 2026, at Mt. Moriah Baptist church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2 – 2:45 in the church fellowship building.

The family suggests memorials made to Mt. Moriah Baptist Church, 6510 Mount Moriah Road, Marshville, NC 28103.
