Obituary

Marshville - Mr. Claude Parks Wallace, 94, passed away Thursday evening at Atrium Health – Union in Monroe.  Born May 23, 1926, he was a son of the late Henry Wilson and Nancy Williams Wallace.  He was also preceded in death by his wife, Zullene Keziah Wallace, and grandson, Chad Timothy Wallace.

Claude was a loyal and dedicated husband, father and grandfather and friend. He retired from Scott Aviation after many years of dedicated service. He was a lifelong member of Fairfield Baptist Church. Claude served in the United States Army and was a proud Korean War Veteran. Claude loved spending time on his farm and working in his numerous gardens. It was said that he had the best turnips in the county. He never met a stranger and always had a story or words of wisdom.

A graveside service to celebrate the life of Mr. Wallace will be held at 2 PM, Thursday, December 17th, 2020 at the Fairfield Community Baptist Church Cemetery.  The family will greet friends following the service at the cemetery.  Please exercise social distancing while at the service.

Survivors include sons, Tim Wallace, Charlie Wallace, Randall Wallace and wife Kim Wallace all of Marshville; grandchildren, Chris Wallace and wife Anita, Amy Thomas and husband Adam, Travis Wallace and wife Krista, Cory Wallace, Casie Luther and husband Alex, Brayden Wallace, Charlie Wallace II; great -grandchildren: Tyler Thomas, Parks Thomas, Addison Wallace, Blain Wallace, Jade Wallace, Kayden Helms.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to Fairfield Community Baptist Church.
