Mr. Ralph Clifton Deason Jr. 72 went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Thursday morning June 2, 2016. Cliff was born in Peachland on February the 3rd, 1944. He was preceded in death by his fathers: Ralph Clifton Deason and Charlie Blake High and his mother Faye Billingsley High.
Cliff's faith and family were what he cherished most of all. Cliff loved to be called "Pop" by his children and "Poppy" by his grandchildren. The years he spent logging with his father Charlie Blake were some of the happiest days of his life. He retired from Pilgrim's Pride after over 30 years of service.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 5PM Sunday, June the 5th, 2016 at Peachland Baptist Church with burial to follow in the Peachland City Cemetery. The family will receive friends in the Church Fellowship Hall from 3:30pm until 5pm.
Cliff married the love of his life and best friend Nancy Lee Haywood Deason. They met when Cliff was 8 and Nancy was 6. They were married for over 52 years. In addition to his wife he is survived by his children: Wendy Hildreth and her husband Stan, Larry Deason and his wife Stephanie, and Brian Deason and his wife Staci. His grandchildren: Mallory Hildreth Bricker and her husband Josh, Bryson Hildreth, Madison Hildreth, Chloe Deason, Emma Deason, Jacob Deason, and Tyler Deason. Great grandchildren: Gracilee Bricker, Jackson Bricker, and Deason Bricker. His brothers: Rev. Tony High and his wife Sheri and Monte High and his wife Donna. In addition to his immediate family he is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
