Mr. William Clinton Edwards, 89, died Thursday, June 22, 2017 at his home. Born December 6, 1927 in Anson County, he was a son of the late James Clyde Edwards and Ruth Horne Edwards. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Rita Edwards Mills.
A funeral service to celebrate the life of Clint will be 2 PM Sunday at Mt. Olive Baptist Church. The family will receive friends following the service at the church.
Mr. Edwards is survived by his wife of 70 years, Annie Lou Edwards of the home; grandchildren, Donna Mills Cummings of Monroe and Mark Mills and his wife Melissa of Peachland; son-in-law, Ronnie Mills of Peachland; brother, James Winfred "Shorty" Edwards of Peachland; sister, Helen Jean Tarlton of Marshville; great grandchildren, Elizabeth Cummings, Clint and Mason Mills.
