Mr. Coit Davis 86, passed away Thursday the 29th of October, 2015 at Autumn Care Nursing Home of Marshville. He was born on April the 23rd, 1929 to the late George Carl and Gladys Austin Davis. He was a retired self-employed logger. He was preceded in death by his son Terry Edwin Davis.

Memorial Services will be 11am Saturday at Morgan & Son Funeral Home. The family will greet friends following the service.

Coit is survived by his wife Mrs. Frances W. Davis. Three sons: Mr. Coit Wayne Davis of Peachland, Mr. Larry Cecil Davis and his wife Sharon of Monroe and Mr. Jeffrey Alan Davis and his wife Lisa of Peachland. One daughter Mrs. Karla Ranette Davis and her husband Melvin Furr of Peachland. One brother Mr. Carl Lee Davis of Monroe. Fourteen Grandchildren: Anita Chris, Jennifer Williams, Brent Davis, Darby Davis, Jamie Davis, Melissa Davis, Emily Marsh, Clint Davis, Kyle Davis, Justin Davis, Brittany Coley, Brandie Davis, Kayla Davis and LeAnna Davis. Thirteen Great-grandchildren also survive him.
