Mrs. Colleen Ohlinger Griffin, 63 died Monday at Woodridge Nursing home in Monroe. Born September 13, 1950 in Akron, Ohio, she was a daughter of the late Louis and Betty Flamming Ohlinger. She was also preceded in death by her husband Sherrill. Colleen loved crafting, knitting and crocheting. She adored her grandchildren. Before Sherrillâ??s death, they enjoyed watching Forest Hills High School and Wingate sports together. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Colleen will be held Friday at 11 am from the chapel of Morgan & Son Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Marshville City Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday one hour prior to service at the funeral home. Mrs. Griffin is survived by two sons, Louis Griffin of Monroe and Stanley Griffin of Concord; brother, Robert Ohlinger of Monroe; and 3 grandchildren.
