Wadesboro

Mr. Curt Traywick, Jr., 80, passed away Friday the 24 ^th of March, 2017.  He was born in Union County on November the 1 ^st , 1936 to the late Curt & Eileen Traywick.  He was the owner of Traywick Motor Company of Wadesboro and Marshville for over 55 years.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his daughter Mrs. Sandy Traywick Deal.

Funeral Services will be 1pm Tuesday the 28 ^th of March, 2017 in the Chapel of Morgan & Son Funeral Home.  Interment will follow in the Marshville City Cemetery.  Visitation will be 6pm-8pm Monday evening at the Funeral Home.

Curt is survived by his loving and faithful wife of over 60 years Mrs. Betty Horne Traywick of the home.  His four sons: Mr. Mike Traywick of Wadesboro, Mr. Ronnie Traywick and his wife Gwen of Marshville, Mark Traywick and his wife Beth of Marshville and Bryan Traywick of Sunset Beach, NC.  One daughter Mrs. Connie Rape and her husband Wayne of Monroe.  His son-in-law Mr. Jeff Deal of McLeansville, NC. His two sisters: Kathy T. Johnson of Waynesville, NC., and Mrs. Nancy T. Pryor and her husband Joe of Polkton. Twelve grandchildren:  Tiffany Traywick and her fiancé Bill Walsh, Adam Traywick, Amanda Traywick, Caroline Mullis and her husband Joshua, Carson Traywick, Alexandra Deal, Clifton Deal, Austin Rap and his wife Alexis, Jared Rape, Caleb Rape, Anna Rape, and Cason Rape.  One great-grandson; Luke Austin Rap. His aunt Mrs. Libby Williams and her husband Carroll of Hickory, NC. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews.

The family of Mr. Traywick would like to extend their gratitude to Dr. Gary Henry, Dr. Brouse, and their entire staff's for the excellent care they provided for Curt Jr..
