Mr. Melvin Dale Mills, 54 of Wingate passed away Sunday, August 8, 2021 at his home.  Born December 23, 1966 in Union County, he was a son of the late Melvin Julius Mills and Audrey Medlin Mills.

A memorial service to celebrate the life of Dale will be 11 AM Thursday from the Chapel of Morgan and Son Funeral Home with visitation to follow at the funeral home.  Burial will be private.

Mr. Mills is survived by his loving wife Janet Wright Mills; son, Jamie Dale Mills and his wife Caitlyn; daughter, Brandy Ann Mills; brother, Danny Mills and wife Cindy; grandchildren, Olivia and Huntley Dale Mills; great niece, Niah Mills, great nephew, Noah Mills.

Memorials can be made to Take'Em Outdoors, via their website. A non-profit charity dedicated to taking children with severe or terminal illness into the outdoors, as well as combat wounded veterans.
