Peachland. Mr. Dan R. Hedgepeth 82, passed away on March 31, 2019 at Hospice of Union County. He was born in Halifax County, NC on January 11, 1937 to the late Aaron and Therrie Hedgepeth. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a retired diesel mechanic. He was preceded in death by his first wife Helen Hedgepeth.
Funeral Services will be 2pm Thursday in the Chapel of Morgan & Son Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Peachland City Cemetery. Visitation will be 1am-1:45 PM on Thursday.
He is survived by his wife Mrs. Joyce C. Hedgepeth of the home. His stepchildren: Mrs. Patricia Edwards and her husband Robert of Monroe, Mrs. Sharon Smith and her husband Gary of Charlotte. His brothers: Mr. Jerry Hedgepeth and Rondall Hedgepeth, both of Roanoke Rapids.
