Mr. Danny Chapman, 73, passed away Friday morning July 10, 2020 at the Hospice House in Monroe.  Born October 2, 1946 in Union county, he was a son of the late Rubin Chapman and Mary Connell.  He was also preceded in death by his wife, Betty Simpson Chapman.  He loved his Lord, his church and his family.

A funeral service to celebrate the life of Danny will be 2 PM Monday at Lanes Creek Baptist Church, 118 Marshville Waterplant Road, Marshville.  The family will receive friends Monday from 1-2 pm in the church's fellowship building. Due to Covid19, please exercise state restrictions while at the service.

He is survived by step-daughters, Valerie Starnes (Michael) of Stallings and Crystal Jameson Mode (Kenny) of Stallings; grandchildren, Matthew and Sheridan Starnes of Stallings, Allan Jameson (Nicole) of Stallings, Alex Jameson of Charlotte, and Mackenzie and Katherine Mode of Indian Trail; great-grandchildren, Ava, Alexa, and Aria Jameson.

The family would like to thank Karla Segee for her love and care during his illness.
