Peachland – Mr. Darrell Warren Vaughn, Jr., 66, passed away June 21, 2022 at his daughter's home. Born August 28, 1955 in Union County, he was a son of the late Darrell Warren, Sr. & Mary Madgline Hinson Vaughn. He is survived by one daughter, Sara Vaughn; her mother, Ann Marr; granddaughters Allison, Alia, and Alivia; two brothers, Johnny Coley (Joyce), Charles Coley (Nancy); one sister, Sheila Griggs (Mark); one Aunt, Margie Pigg and lots of nieces and nephews.

Mr. Vaughn was preceded in death by two sisters, Sharon Underwood and Shelby Coley. Warren was a wonderful father and grandfather. He was a truck driver and welder. He had a strong Christian faith and never met a stranger.

If you wish to pay your respects to Mr. Vaughn, he will be lying in state at the funeral home from 12 Noon to 3:30 p.m. Thursday, June 23, 2022.

A graveside service to celebrate the life of Warren will be Friday, June 24, 2022 at 11 AM at the Griffin/Oakdale Cemetery on Highway 218 in Polkton, North Carolina.
