Mr. David Alvin Brinkley, 69 passed away Thursday at the Hospice House in Monroe. Born December 7, 1946 in Suffolk, VA, he was a son of late Elizabeth Godwin Teller.
Funeral services will be 2 PM Sunday, November 13, 2016 at the Union Grove Baptist Church. The family will greet friends one hour before the service in the church's fellowship building.
He is survived by his wife Julie O. Brinkley; son, Anthony Brinkley both of Charlotte; daughters, Kelly Dean of Cashiers, NC and Billie Jo Senn of Pollocksville, NC; brothers, William Moxley of Monroe and Leon Brinkley of Kentucky; 7 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
