Dateline - Marshville Mr. David G. Griffin, 69, of Marshville, died Saturday at his home. Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 pm from the chapel of Morgan & Son Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Faulks Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1pm to service time on Monday at the Funeral home. Mr. Griffin is survived by a daughter, Penny Crot and husband Bill of Monroe, sons, Marty Griffin and wife Kendra of Monroe, Bobby Lee and wife Sandra and Nicky Lee and wife Lori all of Marshville; his ex wife after 35 years of marriage whom he still loved, Ann Griffin; grandchildren, Christopher Griffin and wife Kim, Randall Griffin, Chris Crot, Bryson, Blake and Brandon Lee, Shelby, Jesse, Kaitie Joe and Lacy Lee; great grandchildren, Oakley and Riley Griffin. The family suggests memorials made to Hospice of Union County.
