Mrs. Debra Hamilton Smith, 65 died May 12, 2016 at Cape Fear Valley Hospital in Fayetteville, NC Born April 7 1951, she was a daughter of Audrey Thomas Hamilton and the late Reece Hamilton. She was an avid knitter, crocheter and gardener.

Funeral service will be held 11AM Monday, May 16, 2016 at Hamilton Crossroads Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 5-7 PM at Morgan & Son Funeral Home.

Survivors include her husband Bob Smith of the home, daughter, Dawn Smith of Marshville; son, Terry Leigh of Wingate, three step children and five grandchildren; sisters, Sharon Davis and husband Larry of Monroe and Lori Helms of Marshville; brother, Randy Hamilton and his wife Lisa of Wingate.
