Marshville – Mr. Dennis Brooks, 81, passed away October 4, 2021 at Hospice House in Monroe.  Born February 25, 1940, he was a son of the late George Wilson Brooks and Genevieve Brewer Brooks.  He was also preceded in death by the love of his life, Brenda L. Brooks in 2011, after 52 years of marriage. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Deane Mungo.

Funeral services to celebrate the life of Dennis will be held 12 noon, Tuesday, October 5, 2021 from the Chapel of Morgan & Son Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 11 – 11:45 at the funeral home.

Dennis is survived by his daughter, Paula Brooks (Mike Hynes); son, Reggie Brooks and wife Amy; grandchildren, Brooks (Kristen) Dove, Wilson Dove, John (Melissa) Brooks, Amanda (Austin) Kiker, Jenna (Trevor) Leander and David Brooks; 7 great-grandchildren; brother, Don (Doris) Brooks; numerous nieces and nephews.
