Mrs. Diane Collins, 68, of Wingate, passed away November 29, 2022 at her home.  Born September 21, 1954 in Union County, she was the daughter of Sherwood and Bonnie Little Baker.

Mrs. Collins is survived by her husband Fred Collins; daughters, Stacy Collins-Nance (Jason) and Christy Collins; grandchildren, Gabriel and Chloe; brother, Danny Baker (Patsy); sisters, Anita Helms (David) and Mary Donna Williams (Brian).

Diane was a loving wife, mother, sister & friend. With a dedicated work ethic instilled in her by her parents, she devoted her professional career to Dellinger, Inc. serving as Vice President of Operations for over 43 years.  She was a lover of music and was bestowed by God the voice of an angel.  Her siblings recall many joyous moments of piano and song. As a regular participant of the church choir, Diane often regaled the congregation with heartfelt solos.  She and her husband enjoyed splitting their time amongst Wingate and Hendersonville, NC as well as Sun City, FL with their beloved dogs. Diane's giving character and kind intelligence will be well remembered by her daughters, siblings, family and friends.

A funeral service to celebrate the life of Diane will be 11 AM, Monday, December 5, 2022 from the graveside of Faulks Baptist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive following the service at the cemetery.
