Polkton- Donna Leatherman 71, passed away on Monday the 14th of May, 2018 at CMC Union. She was born in Cleveland County, NC on December the 30th, 1946. She was preceded in death by her parents Lewis and Nelle C. Throckmorton. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her son Timothy Dean Williams.
Funeral Services will be 2pm Wednesday in the Chapel of Morgan & Son. Interment will follow in the Marshville City Cemetery. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service.
She is survived by her sons: Mr. Hank Williams and his wife Kim of Buford, SC, and Mr. Scott Williams and his wife Rhonda of Monroe. Her daughter Kim Helms and Junior of Polkton. Two brothers: Stephen Strauss of Greensboro and Lewis Throckmorton and his wife Gayle of Wingate. One sister; Lou Ann Almond and husband Keith of Mt. Gilead, NC. 17 Grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
