Wingate- Mrs. Dorothy G. Hartsell, 88, passed away on November, 3, 2017 at CMC Union. She was born in Union County on August, 30, 1929 to the late Boyce and Ruby Keziah Griffin. She was preceded in death by her first husband Mr. Howard Phifer and her second husband Mr. James Hartsell. Her brother Mr. Earl Griffin.
Graveside Services will be 2pm Tuesday in Union Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will greet friends following the service.
She is survived by four daughters: Mrs. Donna Goodin and her husband Terry of Marshville, Mrs. Karen Harrington and her husband James of Polkton, Ms. Bobbi Hilton of Wingate, and Mrs. Jane Jones of Marshville. Her sister; Mrs. Margie Walters of Wingate. Step-Children: Mrs. Carol Nichols and her husband Loran of Pass Christian, MS., and Mr. Rick Hartsell and wife Lori of Athens, AL. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.
