Mr. Doug Litton 71, passed away Friday at CHS-Union in Monroe. Born June 2, 1945 in Anderson County, TN, he was a son of the late Woodrow Wilson Litton and Dorothy Lucille Weaver Litton McWright. He also preceded in death by his brother, Gary W. Litton. He was retired from Yale-Norton as an engineer, Anson Machine Works, Inc. and dispatcher for Union County Sheriff's Office.
The family will greet friends Monday evening from 6-8 at Morgan & Son Funeral Home. Funeral services will be private.
He is survived by his wife, Gail Litton; daughter, Kimberly Thomas and her husband Greg; granddaughter, Peyton Thomas all of Marshville
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials be made to East Campus - First Baptist Church of Indian Trail - youth fund, 6140 West Marshville Blvd, Marshville, NC 28103.
