Marshville – Mr. Edward Haigler, 64, passed away Tuesday, October 25, 2022 at Hospice House in Monroe.  Born October 1, 1958 in Union County, he was a son of the late Ajar Clay Haigler and Effie Tomberlin Haigler.  He was also preceded in death by, brother, Willard Clay Haigler and Dennis Ray Haigler and a sister, Renelda Jane Baker.

A funeral service to celebrate the life of Edward will be 11AM Friday, October 28, 2022 at Philadelphia Baptist Church with burial to follow in Faulks Baptist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends Thursday from 6-8 pm at Morgan & Son Funeral Home.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 45 years, Karen Blackburn Haigler; daughters, Melinda Haigler Thompson (Ronald Jay) and Jennifer Lee Myers (Mark); grandchildren, Katelynn Allyah Rapp & fiancé Landon Conder, Jayla Nicole Rapp, Derrick Jay Thompson, Brandon Jon Thompson, Monica Jean Thompson; siblings, Ernest Lane Haigler (Kay), Terry Joe Haigler (Tammy), brother-in-law, Thomas Baker and sister-in-law, Elizabeth Haigler.
