Marshville – Edward Douglas Pressley, 76, passed away Thursday, December 1, 2022 at Atrium Health in Monroe.  Born October 13, 1946 in Union County, he was a son of the late Ray Eugene Pressley and Minnie Guion Pressley. He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Cindy Pressley Wallace, siblings, Max Pressley, Ruth Faulkenberry and Don Pressley.

He enjoyed being a licensed contractor, loved his grandchildren and his nieces and nephews.

A funeral service to celebrate the life of Edward will be 11 AM Saturday, December 3, 2022 at Bethel Baptist Church with burial to follow in the Marshville City Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 10-10:45 on Saturday in the church's fellowship building.

Those left behind to cherish his memory include his loving wife of 59 years, Edith Pressley; sister, Ann Tarlton; brother, Ken Pressley (Cathy); grandchildren, Brooke Wallace and Cory Wallace.
