Elder Rommie L. Williams, 69, died May 18, 2016 at the W.G. Bill Hefner VA Medical Center in Salisbury. Born March 26, 1947, he was a son of the late Buren Lee Williams and Mattie Elizabeth Mullis Williams. He was a dear Elder to the Primitive Baptist Churches.
Funeral service will be held 1 PM Saturday, May 21, 2016 at Pleasant Grove Primitive Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church's cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 5-7 PM at Morgan & Son Funeral Home.
Survivors include his wife Sonya of the home, sons, Jason Williams and his wife Erin of San Diego, California, Travis Williams and his wife Rindy of College Grove, Tennessee and Eric Williams and his wife Christy of Marshville; Sister, Lorraine Shue and her husband Reid of Mt. Pleasant, NC, Benny Napier and her husband Donnie of Polkton; brother Randy Williams and his wife Susan of Kannapolis, NC and grandchild, Cade Williams.
