Mrs. Eleanor Howie Smith Little, 95, of Wingate, NC passed away Thursday, 11/08/18, at Autumn Care in Marshville, NC. She was the daughter of the late Baxter and Leona Howie. She was preceded in death by her first and second husbands, Leo Max Smith and Max Little and sons Rick Smith and Everett Smith.
Mrs. Little graduated from high school in Monroe, NC and Presbyterian Nursing School in Charlotte, NC. She worked as a Registered Nurse for her entire career at Union Memorial, Smith Building and Mercy hospitals.
Survivors include son, Andy Smith and wife Kathy, daughter Beth Edwards and husband Robert, brother, Bill Howie and wife Modene; seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
The funeral will be held 3:00 pm Sunday at Wingate Baptist Church with burial to follow in the Wingate City Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the church's fellowship building.
