Mrs. Elizabeth Faulkner Smith, 70, passed away Thursday, November 5, 2026, at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. Born May 25, 1956, in Union County, NC she was the daughter of the late Charles Rivers Faulkner and Ann Capel Griffin.

Funeral services will be announced as soon as information becomes available.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Tony Smith; daughter, Mary Beth Berger (Kurt) and their children, Liam and Ava Berger, daughter, Anna Diggins (Dr. Levi Diggins); siblings, Charles Faulkner, Edwin Faulkner and William Faulkner (Molly), many nieces and nephews.
