Monroe – Mrs. Ellen Ireson Little, 76, passed away April 13, 2018 at Brookdale Assisted Living. Born December 29, 1941 in West Virginia, she was a daughter of the late Daniel William Ireson and Christeen Duncan Ireson. She was also preceded in death by her husband Carroll in 2013 and a son Danny Little.
A funeral service to celebrate the life of Ellen will be held Sunday at 2PM by the graveside of Austin Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
Mrs. Little is survived by children, Terry Williams and her husband Steve of Monroe; Jeff Little and his wife Sandy of Pageland, SC and Victoria Finch and her husband George of Monroe; 8 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren; loving aunt and uncle, Clay and Nan Ireson of Texas; very special niece Christa Zammit and her husband Joe; she always loved her other "children" Boston Terriers.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorials made to the National Kidney Foundation, via website or Hospice of Union County, 700 West Roosevelt Blvd, Monroe, NC 28110.
