Mrs. Eunice Carter Haigler, 99, passed away on Tuesday, August 27, 2019 at Brookdale Monroe Square Assisted Living in Monroe. She was born on March 29, 1920 in Rowan County, the daughter of the late Levi and Susie Bissell Carter. She was preceded in death by her husband, Vann Wilson Haigler and her son, George Wilson Haigler. She was also preceded by sisters, Lina Shinn, Mary Smith, Rena Steele, Mildred Weaver, Zula Morgan, Anna Dwiggins and brothers, David Carter and Major Carter.
The family will  have a celebration of life service at 2:30 on Sunday, September 1, 2019 at Gilboa United Methodist Church located at 5515 Gilboa Road, Marshville. The family will receive friends following the service at the church. Burial will be private.
She is survived by a daughter, Becky Haigler Hinson of Inman, SC; daughter-in-law, Linda Flake Haigler of Marshville, six grandchildren, Holly Hinson Timmons (KC). Mary Hinson, Sarah Hinson Stepp (Brandon), Daniel Hinson, Matthew Haigler (Stephanie) and Nick Haigler and 11 great grandchildren.
