Dateline – Peachland

Mrs. Evelyn Haney Dutton 91, passed away Friday, January 20, 2017 at her home.  Born October 14, 1925 in Anson County, she was a daughter of the late Albert Cull Haney and Viena Horne Haney.  She was a retired school teacher after 44 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Dutton and a brother, Billy Haney.

Funeral services will be 11AM Tuesday, January 24, 2017 at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church with burial to follow in the Peachland City Cemetery.  The family will receive friends one hour before the service in the church's fellowship building.

She is survived by her son, Larry Dutton, Sr. of Peachland, NC; brother Jimmy Haney of Garden City, SC; two grandchildren, Larry, Jr. and Will Dutton; great grandchildren, Cameron and Carmen.

Memorials can be made to the Humane Society of the donor's choice.
