Mrs. Fannie Lee McRae Madaris, 99, passed away on March the 5 ^th , 2017 at her residence.  She was born in Montgomery County on November the 19 ^th , 1917 to the late Murphy Asbury and Sally DeBerry McRae.  She was preceded in death by her husband  Rev. A.E. "Ed" Madaris and one grandson Mr. Paul Jewell.

Funeral Services will be 12 noon the 11 ^th of March, 2017 at Faulks Baptist Church.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery.  Visitation will be in the Faulks Baptist Church Fellowship Hall two hours prior to the service.

She is survived by her two daughters: Mrs. Linda M. Franklin of Wingate and Mrs. Patsy M. Jewell and her husband Rev. Sam Jewell of Fleming Island, FL.  Her son Rev. Tim Madaris and his wife Layne of Pageland, SC. Her siblings: Mr. Shorty McRae and his wife Mildred of Mt. Gilead and Mrs. Jackie Byrd of Wingate.  Her grandchildren: Ray Franklin, Jr., Mark Franklin, Rev. Brian Franklin, Rev. Michael Madaris, Monica Madaris, Mauri Autrey, Mia Carr, Kristin Cartwright, Kara Matthews, and Philip Jewell.  Great-grandchildren:  Brooke Franklin, Andrew Franklin, John Mark Franklin, Jr., Matthew Franklin, Josh Franklin, Ashton Franklin, Elizabeth Franklin, Morgan Madaris, Mya Madaris, Reilly Kral, MacKenzie Kral, Joseph Autrey, T.J. Autrey, Lauri Grace Autrey, Noah Carr, Kendall Carr, Jude Carr, Kolby Cartwright, Kaleb Cartwright, Kaiya Matthews, Juke Matthews, Cade Paul Matthews, and Acie Jewell.  Two great-great grandchildren: Kirra and Kenley.
