Mrs. Faye Starnes Hinson, 78, passed away Sunday, July 29, 2018 at Brookdale Assisted Living. Born July 3, 1940 she was a daughter of the late Judge Benson Starnes, Sr. and Cleona Burgess Starnes.
A funeral service to celebrate the life of Faye will be held 11am Thursday, August 2, 2018 from the Chapel of Morgan & Son Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Euto Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time at the funeral home.
Mrs. Hinson is survived by sons, Sheridan Hinson of Indian Trail, NC and Kevin Hinson of Marshville; daughter, Sheila H. Hinson of Oakboro, NC; brothers, Judge Benson Starnes, Jr. and Tommy Edison Starnes both of Monroe; sisters, Elsie S. Kindley of Unionville and Betty S. Griffin of Marshville; grandchildren, Stephanie, Alicia and Matthew.
