Peachland – Mrs. Frances Adams German, 88, passed away Monday evening at Hospice House in Monroe.  Born January 28, 1933 in Anson County, NC, she was a daughter of the late Lonnie Tillman Adams and Addie Treadaway Adams.  She was also preceded in death her first husband, Harold Diggs, her second husband, Robert German and a son, Jerry Diggs.

A funeral service to celebrate the life of Frances will be 11 AM on Friday by the graveside of German Hill Cemetery. The family will visit with friends following the graveside by the grave. The family respectively ask all in attendance to wear mask.

Mrs. German is survived by a daughter, Janet Diggs Horne and husband Charles; daughter-in-law, Mary Diggs; five grandchildren, Michael (Marie) High, Stephen Brian High of Goldsboro, Jeremy (Amy) Diggs, Jason Diggs and his wife Susan, Monica (Mike) Hege; great grandchildren, Zachery and Kaylie High, Trystan, Jeri and Jordyn Diggs.
